Yeah, I got rate-limited a few times today. It was a pretty sad reminder that the end is near.
I'm watching this. My friend group and I have remained on Madden 20 because the game was just continually a roster update and new MUT cards for $60-$70. We waited on the much-awaited franchise mode updates but they've been delayed twice and I haven't heard anything about them since.
M20 is getting PAINFULLY long in the tooth -- we're on like our 18th season -- but I don't want to jump if its just more of the same.
It's just sad. Like when you separate out the vitriol for spez, the whole situation just sucks. Reddit was my site for over a decade, and I know there are tens of thousands in the same situation as me. I thought I was insulated from this bullshit within Reddit, but clearly I was naive.
The no front camera is going to eliminate a lot of good target options for you. I've personally had a ton of success using Motorola for budget android phones. In fact, I was exclusively on Motorola for the past 10 or so years until I recently moved to a Pixel.
There is plenty that they could run on, although I agree with you that I personally think it's nothing. I'm sure they could just distort figures and run on an economic boogeyman to get at least 48% of the general population vote.
I think the reality is that this doubling-down on culture wars is (hopefully) alienating the folks that swing elections -- genuine independents in genuine purple states. That's a small, very influential demographic. Is destroying leftism really going to resonate with them? I don't know.
I'm sure they are aware of the value of :reddit in a google search right now, and are scared that if this catches on it will eliminate a unique draw of the site right now for investors.
Do you think the Pats will overlook this due to his talent?
This STILL does not make sense to me. There's some kind of scintillating information that is not publicly accessible yet. As far as I understand, Prig signed his death warrant once he shot down the first piece of military equipment. Why turn back at all?
It's a fun novelty for awhile, I can only enjoy it a little bit at a time. The variation and the extremely slow pace can get deflating if you lose four straight slow grindy games because you had a bad spell populate.
We've got a LONG way to go before any site gets as big as Reddit. I'm just hoping between the fediverse and/or squabbles one of those will "win" enough to get a critical mass of users. I'm actually very happy with both, there is just not even a fraction of content compared to reddit in an hour (understandably so).
