I never liked Musk, even when he was "In." Even the Mars colonization meme rubbed me the wrong way, as the science does not line up with that.

It felt like a cult of personality to me. He was always a fickle jerk, a mixed bag.

You have a point though, people's opinions were largely political, I think. Or just based on pure hope/cultism

+1

They should discourage institutions from using it (and use government Mastadon instances of course). This is honestly long overdue.

I'm afraid it would just bolster his image. Become a tiktok meme or something...

Yes that is a crime.

It's incredible how much the US spends for basically backing NATO's defense, and when it basically happens, we wring our hands. Without even having to commit any troops!

But a foreign invasion the country clearly doesn't want? All out.

Not directly, at least.

Trump is many things, but he basically ran against the war in Afghanistan, though its possible the US gets pulled into something because of Israel.

Every single bad thing about this country, from now on, will be prepended with "Biden"

It shall be law.

I'm not actually sure if I'm joking.

But EGG PRICES! The economy!

And he's such a strong leader...

(I am paraphrasing actual interviews our local networks did with college students)

Rimworld was another shining example. Its actual early access was a forum release, the Steam EA was polishing.

That being said I have a dead EA or two in my library. Starforge comes to mind...

I'm so glad I'm not a tiny bug.

Unfortunately the dumb usually survive, and the vulnerable die.

Remember how great Brexit was, they say.
