Alternatively, we have this arbitrary standard of 9am means morning, if we share a single universal time, different places would just have a different arbitrary time being the "morning" instead.

there are also many disabilities that prevents one from driving. Meanwhile infrastructure that is safe for bikes would also be safe for mobility devices travel

Still not a reason to not build them, the entire point is for nuclear to handle the load when solar/wind can't provide due to weather. Other renewables will still be producing the bulk of the power we need, but at night nuclear will be handling any demand spikes, each of them would greatly reduce the number of batteries required to satisfy the demand. They can stay until our solar output is so high we can just start electrolyzing water into hydrogen as energy storage.

Also it's only a problem if we let it be, there's literally centuries for us to figure out a way to make those waste useful for us. Not working towards that would be the only way for the problem to come back to us in the future.

For the first point really no matter what language they are using on the phone it's bad service regardless. There already have been enough studies that says talking on a phone do still distract you from driving and makes it more dangerous.

if you don't mind setting up a bit, OBS actually also have a replay buffer feature to do that. It's a good software to have even if you are not streaming because of the virtual camera feature that let you share screen with very deep customization too.

Their waste is less destructive than coal plant though. Perhaps this could be a silver lining to finally get nuclear back in action and get closer to dropping coal once and for all.

tbf a lot of military budget is on R&D and equipment, training is only a tiny fraction of it. Just compare the spending and the personnel with China.

They typically are quite expensive, but if you don't use them daily, only use them when absolutely needed (which is when other options are not available), it will be cheaper than maintaining a car.

I don’t need to drive

They literally explained their reason. There's no need to bring up other circumstances. Them not liking to drive will also lead to them avoid moving to places that they must drive. An activity that will take a significant amount of your life is going to be an important factor to decide where you move to.

ya it's kind of poor labelling in OP's part. Those are supposed to be "answered by uses that are not from hexbar/lemmygrad", I also don't know why the lemmy.ml vs others get their own ring instead of combining with the inner ring, it's not like you can be in both instance at the same time as a single user.
