Yes, some sad things have happened in San Francisco. The number of unhoused people has grown significantly since 2019. There are too many people doing drugs on the streets—and dying from fentanyl. There is too much crime. And, finally, the remote work phenomenon that started with the pandemic has hit San Francisco probably harder than anywhere, resulting in a downtown that can feel like a ghost town in parts.

Is it that bad? What do you think?

Soy de los que emigraron para acá después de las protestas en Reddit por el bloqueo/cobro de la API a las apps de terceros. La verdad yo jamás usé Reddit con la app oficial, y cuando lo intenté, es literalmente basura. Sabiendo que las apps de terceros en Reddit morirían, opté por abrir cuenta acá. La experiencia es buena, y hay un boom muy interesante de apps, pero lamentablemente el contenido, aunque lo hay, carece de discusión, comentarios, y debate ¿Tan pocos somos los mexicanos que usamos Lemmy, o es tan poco el engagement que solo leen y no comentan?

Yes, I know there's the Base font setting, but that affects everything. For example: If I set base font setting to medium (which I think is the sweet spot for comments), my posts feed gets huge, so now I have to lower Title font size in View type to Medium. You get it? Why not an exclusive font size setting for comments?
