For me it's the super compact view that I miss. None of the other apps comes close to how clear and tidy Sync looks, and none have the option to put the preview on the left and the "view" button on the right. I guess I could get used to it being different, but currently I have multiple Lemmy clients installed but I keep gravitating back towards Sync even though the posts aren't marked as read which is seriously annoying.

Ah, thanks. Found the setting, show scores was disabled. Guess I did that accidentally while looking for a setting to fix the mark as read thing.

I just realized I also don't see points of posts and comments on that account. Is that due to the same reason?

Es liegen Welten zwischen dem Fahren eines 10kg Rads und dem eines 30kg Rads, vor allem wenn es bergauf geht. Und es liegen auch Welten zwischen dem Fahren eines 30kg Rads mit und ohne Unterstützung. Keinen Plan warum man das nicht vernünftig planen wollen sollte. Ist auch legitim zu befürchten, dass mir nach 80km der Akku ausgeht und ich dann die letzten 10km das 30kg-Rad manuell treten muss. Das kann man schon Reichweitenangst nennen, weiß nicht wo das Problem ist.

Trotzdem kauft man sich ein E-Bike doch wegen der Fähigkeit zur Unterstützung also möchte man doch vielleicht wissen, wie lange diese auf der geplanten Tour halten wird. Gerade wenn man eine sehr lange Tour geplant hat, will man doch nicht, dass zum Ende hin der Akku leer ist und man dann noch mal richtig Energie braucht, wenn man vielleicht schon 4 Stunden gefahren ist.

Viele E-Bikes, gerade die mit Bosch-Motor, sind so schwer, dass man die ohne Unterstützung nicht weit fahren mag.

Wär aber generell halt cool, wenn man ein allgemein verbreitetes System dafür hätte, das nicht Google Pay ist, GrapheneOS hin oder her. Ich würde ja gern komplett zur DKB wechseln, aber bei der Volksbank kann ich ohne Google Pay per NFC bezahlen, also bleibe ich da und zahle jeden Monat horrende Kontoführungsgebühren.

Ich hab mal eine blöde Frage. Dieser Post hier ist jetzt in feddit.org, aber wenn ich ihn teile, ist der Link feddit.de und produziert im Browser eine Fehlermeldung. Ich blick irgendwie immer noch nicht durch bei Lemmy.

Is there a good alternative app? Been thinking about moving to a FOSS app for a while anyway but so far couldn't find one that's as good as Sync.
