Hendrix. Hendrix is the fosbury of music. Dude went off in his own direction in both technical and compositional terms, and a lot of people followed.

There's solid points in the comments, but I feel like we're talking about a single individual ignoring convention here, and there's really only one answer in that context :)

Attachment to either party is waning among younger voters. A plurality (41%) of them call themselves independents.

I swear this is a generational thing. Silent Gen were rebellious bastards, boomers were not, gen x are rebellious bastards, millennials are not, gen z going with being rebellious bastards totally checks out .

My old gen x ass is 100% with you my little dudes/dudettes... Gotta fight for your right to party ;)

The very first presidential election I was eligible to vote in, one in six voters chose neither a Democrat nor a Republican.

If you want to preserve any semblance of democracy, stop buying the snake oil. We absolutely can vote for neither, and I go back far enough to have seen 18% of the population go out to the ballots and prove it.

Sums up my experience with reddit, except I brought my own app originally and everything was cozy for years, then one day, this...

The Ministry of Finance estimates the tax could generate about $43 million a year in tax revenue.

What could go wrong you ask? It's right there... $43m a year... That doesn't get deducted from the profits of the speculators, it comes out of the equity in the homes that get sold. The flippers aren't gonna eat the tax, they're going to add it to the cost of the homes they flip.

The law isn't going to mitigate flipping much, it's going to add $43m/year to the amount home prices increase by, and when people see the neighbors house values go up, they'll demand more for their non-flip sales as well.

The Victorian Fisheries Authority states the money for the program comes from the Recreational Fishing Licence Trust Fund, which is raised through fishing license fees.

Kinda makes it an investment of sorts...

Solar maximum. I'm like 80% convinced this is a big part of it and the providers don't want to admit it for whatever reason.

I live in rural north Idaho, which is definitely one of the places you're referring to, and simply saying you feel threatened is only going to get you so far... Your assertion that the random person at the door was a threat has to meet a "reasonable" criteria. A reasonable person would have to feel threatened under the circumstances.

Putting a .30-30 round through the front door when somebody rings the doorbell is a total crapshoot. If it's the pizza guy or FedEx, I'm 100% fucked, because nobody's going to buy that they were being threatening in any way.

It's not as simple as you're suggesting :)

Might think they aren't fucking around, but take a shot at random folks ringing the doorbell and theyll definitely find out... Cops are gonna show up, and they're likely to be a little grumpy.
