Sure but it's also important to not let perfect be the enemy of good. You're right, we do need wide spread and systematic change, but we can also have minor wins like this as we work towards it. The two are not mutually exclusive - the existence of one doesn't prevent the existence of the other. Small wins also maintain momentum, improve morale and foster continuous change. Let's not argue over good news, it achieves nothing. At least take some time to appreciate the little wins, or all you'll ever see is failures ๐.
