So I've been playing around with this some more, and this might genuinely be one of the best usage of AI image generation for ttrpg games I've come across. Previously I was using it to generate character portraits and splash screen backgrounds, but this looks like it's going to be a big practical help when it comes to planning fights etc. I'd never even considered using if for this so thanks, seriously. I can already see the possibilities for making my life easier, lol.

This is a really smart idea. I've struggled to find much in the way of scifi battlemaps, so maybe this might help with that.

Mind sharing the prompts for those, please?

I was wondering why he was rendered in a wheelchair, but then I realised he'd have a fish tale for legs. Clever.

I've been getting something similar here in the UK, but from the Royal Mail interestingly enough....

Wow. Kinda inspirational, tbh.

Agreed. I think we should be investing our time and effort into trying to make the best of the situation, rather than constantly moaning that we lost. I voted remain, but even I can see that we're better off as a nation trying to heal the divide and move forward than dwelling in the past.

Why not contact him anyway? The worst that can happen is that he says no. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take, as they say...

I don't think it's unrealistic to appreciate good news. I am more than aware of how bad things are, but to only fixate on the bad is not the way to do things. That's not realistic because it ignores the fact that goods things are happening. Here's two websites for you to enjoy, full of good news stories happening all over the world right now:

https://www.goodnewsnetwork.org/category/news/earth/

https://futurecrunch.com/

You seem to be hoping for one big 'this one thing will immediately save the world' style discovery, but you and I know that's not how these things work. If humanity is to 'solve' climate change it will not be through one single game changing moment, it'll be via a cumulation of many success stories big and small, just like this one.

Bad news is addictive and it's dangerous. Stay informed, obviously, but don't neglect your own mental health for the sake of waiting for some hyperthetical panacea.

Ive said my piece. Hope you have a good day, friend.
