The EU has an economy the size of the US (if you include the UK), and bigger than China.

How do you think when you say europe is weaker? Weaker in some specific thing?

Thanks for the feedback!

A docker could make the setup run, and if I rework where I store the data (now it's in the same folder as the listener so it needs a special tweak in the docker files) but the problem is the 10f executable that you use to share files with, it's a command line app so it would be weird to put that in a docker IMO.

Also, using docker images isn't really simple?

You are right though, simpler is better.

What do you think about a setup script instead? Like

  1. forward a port to your PC

  2. run the setup script with your public IP:PORT (or just the port and let the script auto-detect the IP)

  3. start the listener

Or should I still work on that? I can make a gui that helps setting everything up and run I guess.

Thanks, didn't know!

You forget that the USA and China are also dependent on the EU.

EU dresses up so slutty I just had to act.

They should hold that boat indefinitely and close the gap in Kattegat for all Russian vessels.

So Russia should stop the invasion and go back home?

Can they embrace the uranium directly?

[–] Valmond 1 points 9 hours ago

Or both, military spending because there is a war in Europe, more renewables (I think nuclear is late to the party, and we import the fuel from not the nicest countries too) so that we can phase out lots of oil, coal, gas consumption.

Hello, I'm Valmond creator of the Tenfingers sharing protocol & implementation.

To make it more motivating for people to try it out, what should I share to showcase its abilities? It can be rougly anything up to say a gigabyte.

I'm thinking about music, video, parts of wikipedia, ...

Legal of course.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Cheers & thanks!

Automod on lemmy world (self.asklemmy)
submitted 1 month ago by Valmond to c/asklemmy

Hello everyone!

Sometimes when I post on lemmy.world I get an automod post saying my comment was removed for civility.

Sure, maybe I treated someone a russian bot or a comrade, but I don't think I'm very un civilized, so I'd like to know what was it that crossed the line.

So I'd like to know which post was actually removed, is there a way? I'm on Connect and I have clicked all over the automod post without success... it just states a post was removed.

Also, I see no post being removed (could have missed that ofc)?

Cheers

Tenfingers sharing protocol (self.decentralization)
submitted 1 month ago by Valmond to c/decentralization

Hello and thanks for making this community!

I would like to ask a question, I'm the creator of the Tenfingers sharing protocol, and a decentralised FOSS implementation of it.

You can basically have a decentralised web site or share data with anyone.

Would it be appropriate to post asking for help here? Testing and ideas for the future mostly I guess.

Cheers
