If I could ride one without risking my life even more than I already do in a car, I'd love to get to work and back on one of those. But there are no bike paths, sidewalks, or any other scooter friendly options for me.

If you can ride while protected from the local traffic, absolutely consider this option!

Would there be any reason to believe that a ballistic missile would be non-nuclear?

[–] Usernameblankface 3 points 1 month ago

Thanks, I hate it

Lyrics by Suno, edited by me to make it more densely quote filled and shorter. Music obviously by Suno

Assuming it's nuclear, sit around and mourn the fact I don't have a basement. Hope that either A: missle defence works, or B: I'm in the evaporation zone. Radiation sickness sounds awful.

Even if the explosion and fallout completely missed my area, I think EMP disruption would be a huge issue and lots of people would be panicking, stealing, murdering trying to survive.

Eh, they're all just big and bigger islands, because every land mass is surrounded by water.

"(you deserve it though)"

That part right there has to go. Before much of anything else can change, that belief must go.

Any number of people can tell you any number of times that you deserve better, but until this belief that you deserve to be mistreated actually changes in inside you, in your way of thinking day to day, little else will change in a meaningful way.

Good friends who treat you like humans help, it sounds like you found one of those so far. Good therapists help more, if you can find a good one.

Ah yes, the worst parts of different recipes thrown together. Nice.

Haha when I want to try a new brand or location, I judge it by how good their vanilla is.

[–] Usernameblankface 18 points 1 month ago

Yes, exactly. If the shop can't make good vanilla, then they're a gimmick shop.

Oh my goodness, Christmas Shoes is the worst.

My must have is Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Christmas Eve Sarajevo

https://youtu.be/2LbmhneqBnE?si=DBS73IJvSW5zBQRC

It's easily overplayed, but if I can get away with hearing it 3 times through December, it's great!

Can't stand... Not going to link Maria Carey.

Edit, also not going to link (gagging) Christmas Shoes (vomits)

It'll be 4 seconds slow in the afternoon, which is to say it's gone back for seconds.

Edited to make the tense consistent

Suppose whoever is in charge of making wants to tell the exact same story with a new cast, possibly a new location. You're in charge of picking the songs for the movie.

You magically have access to the rights of any song ever, the only limitations is that the songs should fit at the same points of the same story as the first movie.

Do you use the same songs? Would you run with a different genre? Change decades? Swap in different Abba songs? Is it sacrilege to even wonder?

It took several tries to get the white neck and cheek rest in white. I just doesn't look exotic enough in black on gold.

Prompt: a fiddle made of solid gold, gold body, bright white neck and white fretboard, gold tuning pegs. It has shiny black strings and the body of the fiddle is engraved with intricate flame designs, and a few hidden skulls. it comes with a matching bow made of gold.

In Bing Image Creator, DAL-E 3 Prompt: a Hawaiian shirt with a normal palm trees, bright colored flower blooms, and white background design. Artfully and playfully hidden in the white spaces and among the loud colors are many subtle, small, hidden hotwheels logos, designed to catch the eye on closer observation, but hidden at first glance.

The mix of bold overall look with subtle hidden features seems to be a sticking point with Bing.

Either way, I'd wear that shirt if it was made with actual Hot Wheels cars on it

Prompt: a Hawaiian shirt with subtle designs celebrating Hot Wheels 50th anniversary

Changing the subtle to hidden didn't get much better results.
