For what it's worth, surveys in my country repeatedly show that renters would prefer to own. But the market here is rough and banks are denying people loans even with a lower monthly payments than their existing rent.

I would think it is the same in the US, but most people here rent because they can't buy.

I think a lot of the outrage is the people that used to use the app on Reddit but have been priced out by this strategy. It's very disappointing and, if my time on Reddit has tought me anything, people are very quick to vent the frustrations by posting.

The healthy thing is to just find an option in the right price bracket, that's how I found Voyager.

A lot of the initiatives are ineffective by design because the real goal is to give the consumers agency over the problem. Corporations have known that individual effort is a drop in the bucket but by framing the problem as not not a "corporate" problem but a "society" problem, they can keep not fixing it, for profit.

Looks like an interesting update to a good game. Loving the fact that there is an "Meeple" version available without the plastic bloat.

My group loves Concordia as a bit of a break from mean fighty games. The theme and framing gives the cut throat nature of the game a friendlier tone.

Everyone in my group likes the game regardless of winning or losing. A rare quality for some types of gamers.
