Wanted to upvote this but its at 420 right now, so..
Ive never paid for subscription on pandora. The ad version isnt that bad, but I also dont listen to it for more than an hour at a time. I would say on average I get 5 -15 second ads an hour.

Yea pretty mess up, your tax dollars pay for the data that weather apps use for free, then some of those apps charge you lol. It was a big issue when the Hawaiian fires happened.
Isn't it illegal for the NWS to make an weather app because of lobbyist?

Paid streaming services that have ads in the UI (youtubetv). Amazon firesticks having ads on the UI. I actually complained to YTTV and they sent me an email explaining why there are commercial on live TV, pissed me off even more.
If he's going to quit things willy nilly like this, hes not going to be a reliable employee.
