Highland Park 12 is nice. Many agree that older bottlings are better but the modern ones aren't bad.
Also look out for wood smoked American single malts. It's a thing.

I'd argue that some people are not tech savvy enough to figure that out. Whereas Lemmy is actually less complicated.
Relay for Reddit is still active and implementing a tiered subscription soon. Not entirely sure I'll keep it but the lowest tier is only $2/month.
The bag full of fries seems to vary by location. I stopped at a Five Guys in Vancouver last week on a road trip and they loaded it up nicely. The one closest to me skimps a little bit but I've had far worse at different locations.

I thought lemmygrad.ml was the tankies.
The fediverse is a space built to escape these corporate profit machines. So you're ok with them invading that space?
Federating with Threads might help the fediverse grow, but Threads has the ability to become the largest instance within it. Then they'll be the ones to defederate from us. After that happens the fediverse will be worse off than if they never joined.
The fediverse is a threat to corporate run social media. Threads joining the fediverse is step one of their inside job to bring it down.
It's not really enough rewrites to worry about. Your SSD will be fine.
I had read recently that opening the door while it's running triggers an emergency shutoff that is quicker than normal operation. Apparently this is bad for the longevity of the microwave.
The reason you can't agree is because it doesn't make sense to describe any part of a bed/mattress as having a front.
So just stop using "front" entirely.
You have the top and bottom, head and foot, and both sides. There's no need for a front or back.
The upfront cost and CO^2 emissions from getting these things into space must be justified first. Rocket launches are definitely not green. The emissions from launching this kind of program must not exceed to emissions of competing infrastructure.
The article mentions eliminating the need of batteries for solar energy storage, but which creates more emissions? Building batteries or rocket launching solar panels?
I've used Relay for years, first tried it when it was still called Reddit News.
I'll admit that I've been browsing Reddit a bit with the official app and it's a garbage experience. Like, there's no /r/all? Wtf.
Anyway, it's just pushing me more onto Lemmy. It's slowly turning into a viable alternative as engagement grows.
