Except the carbon footprint of Starlink is estimated to be 30x greater than terrestrial alternatives.

More than half of all satellites in space are already Starlink at around 5,000, with 12,000 planned in the near future and up to 42,000 as a later expansion.

It's just not sustainable.

ReVanced can patch most of the popular apps with your own private (free to use) API key.

Step by step guide if you're interested

I'm sure Reddit is seeing private key usage sky rocketing on their end since ReVanced released these patches. Whether or not Reddit chooses to do anything about it remains to be seen, but I can't help but wonder how long it will last.

Nowadays I still stick with Lemmy for general scrolling and only go to Reddit for my niche subreddits that don't have active equivalents here.

I am not a biologist.

Your post reminded me of a Mossy Earth video I had seen recently

https://youtu.be/pQ-dSxYonog?si=NJJGnXBoHkMJKKBq

They discuss the pros and cons of lupin on the island.

I'm more concerned with the fact that they're not supporting the steam workshop and using their own mod platform

I've heard that you can watch that movie in a loop starting at any point and it doesn't make any more or less sense than starting at the beginning.

I don't have a webcam. And I didn't have a functioning microphone for several years until recently.

Climate news is scary af this year.

Couple years ago it was like "we need to do something about this in the next few decades"

Now it's like "permanent damage to the planet is happening now"

I mean, it's not usual to find more modern books at a thrift store. Yeah a lot of them are old, but newer ones are there.

Even among the old ones there are some that are sought after, like Betty Crocker's Cooky Book. Best snickerdoodles of my life.
