(If the US had adequate public transit/micromobility infrastructure, worrying about random strangers picking you up – let alone for intra-city travel – wouldn't be a thing.)

Okay, so at this point:
- Ned's wife Maude is canonically dead.
- Apu, his wife, and his brother are gone from the show.
- Edna is gone after her VA died.
- Lionel Hutz and Troy McClure are gone after their VA died.
- Milhouse is either gone from the show or won't have his iconic voice. Possibly Jimbo too, although I think his voice could reasonably be replaced. Not sure about Rod.
- The larynx of Marge's VA, age 74, is on its last legs. The other VAs for the family are in their 60s.
- The VA for Flanders, Skinner, Reverend Lovejoy, Mr. Burns, Smithers, and Kent Brockman is 80.
- The show has had new episodes (774 of them) being put out since 1989.
- The show is in its analog to the SpongeBob meta/dead cat bounce era, where it's recovered from being abysmal and is now just kind of watchable.
- The overwhelming majority(?) of the original writers are gone.
- The show has jumped the shark like 50 times.
- The satire has literally no bite.
Just put it out of its misery already. Jesus christ.
Edit: I can't imagine too how many VAs died or retired accounting for dubs in different languages.
I totally forgot that if I drive on the left side of the road for a bit then swerve way off into the ditch past the right side of the road and stay there, I'm basically "a middle of the road kinda guy".
OP, just saying "(not real, fyi)" in the text part of the post seems a bit misleading.
Methane is much more potent (over 100x), but there's still relatively more damage by CO2 thanks to a higher atmospheric abundance, and methane is able to break down much more quickly in the atmosphere. It's far worse per molecule, but CO2 is far worse overall.
Methane is a massive problem, and there should be more focus on it, but bringing it up on an article about CO2 emissions instead of engaging with the problem described in the article is the sort of textbook whataboutism that people who want to stall climate action use because "well what about this other thing instead" (repeat ad infinitum until the planet's uninhabitable). Anyone is welcome to post on Lemmy, and that makes you more than welcome to make separate posts for articles on methane.
And this is coming from someone who ardently opposes animal agriculture and natural gas, two of the biggest sources of atmospheric CH4.
>"true middle of the road kinda guy"
>endorsed a fascist for POTUS
lmfao okay
Remember, folks: always trust PP_BOY_ on Lemmy comparing SSRIs to lobotomies over the advice of a medical doctor specialized in treating mental disorders and meta-analysis after meta-analysis showing a drug class' efficacy as a front-line treatment for depression.
Incidentally, how's that global anti-intellectualism crisis going?
Misery, misery, misery, that's what you've chosen. I offered to read an email, and you spat in my face.
Damn bruh they really sunk Central America huh
But then they sue the Internet Archive for hosting a library for the betterment of society. Capitalism is a plague.
