Not sure why it wasn't. Beyond meat have been approved for a while and afaik they are pretty similar. Maybe I should read the article

Edit: it's the fake muscle juice thing. I thought beyond had that too

Not hating on the originals but that's not a high bar to clear. But yeah, so far I have not encountered any major bug after 3+ hours so I'd say they cleared it. DLSS is fucked up though for some reason, (I can see the actual (not upscaled) frame every 4 frame or something) which is weird because it usually works pretty well out of the box in unreal.

Also, cinema was invented by the French. Kind of cool IMO.

And then reinvented (with the Nouvelle Vague that went against "the Hollywood way" and largely contributed to revitalizing the entire industry)

Yeah some softwares are also just bad at handling this stuff on startup I guess. Visual studio fucks up the code window's scaling all the time for me. UE4 used to literally never open a window with the correct scaling on my second (smaller) monitor window too but it got a lot better with UE5

That 2nd monitor window thing sounds like a DPI scaling issue, especially if your main screen has different scaling than the one causing issues. I get this a lot at work because of my setup and the software I use (on windows btw) and I got so used to manually moving the window and smashing it against the top of the screen to maximize it that I don't really mind. But maybe the term can help you troubleshoot it further

Works pretty well on pop!_os (with X) barring some oddities that I'm not even sure are specific to Nvidia cards (like the compositor losing its shit when I try to pop out a video from my browser and put it over a game's window)

Not sure if you're joking but the German Stielhandgranate was literally nicknamed "potato masher" by soldiers, so there may be some truth to that

Wtf, I know how obnoxious stoners can be, but have these ladies even met a cigar snob ? They're worse, and it smells worse too !

rarely if ever contained a face or a feeling

We even added "> mfw I have no face" to address that if we felt particularly quirky !

Hi, I'm looking for a way to record voicemails that my recently deceased grandfather sent to my grandmother. Visual voicemail is setup but it does not show the messages, so I can't just save them by sharing them with my phone. Also her SIM is not "nano" format so I can't use it in my fairphone 4 to record it from there

If anyone can recommend a play store app that is not a privacy nightmare, or a way to install f droid on her phone, that would be lovely (even after enabling apks it couldn't open the f-droid apk, I assume because the API on her phone is too outdated)

Edit : nevermind, I remembered that her phone carrier has a web interface with the option to download the messages as a .mp3 file. Thanks to everyone for your replies, recording through jack was also a good idea but it completely went over my head after years of using a phone with no jack

Hi, I recently installed pop!_os on my shiny new gaming desktop and I'm loving it so far. But I'm now trying to get some games to work (mostly Helldivers 2 right now, which does work after a fresh install, but then freezes on a blackscreen with all subsequent launches. I'm assuming this is due to that awful kernel level anti cheat somehow)

Long story short, according to the fine folks over at protonDB, gamescope can help. But I can't find it on the pop shop or with apt-get. If anyone can point me to some trusted PPA I can use, or the dependencies I need to build it from source, that would be very appreciated (or even, just how to find out what dependencies I am missing. I lost my linux-fu after a long period of using Windows exclusively but I'm not a complete noob)

Additional infos : I used the Nvidia installer, 550 drivers (I have the RTX 3080 Ti), have the Nvidia drm modeset enabled, and I'm using the pop_os Steam package. ~~I also enabled "force full composition pipeline" in Nvidia settings~~ actually I just disabled it because it was causing issues with some other games that were running fine without it
