Most people in Europe rent. It actually has advantages over owning depending on your situation.

BMI is sketchy and at the boundary points doesn't take build into account. Still, at large BMIs it does reflect a general fat burden.

No, the reason people are fat is diet and lack of physical activity, they just don't want to give up their lifestyle. Nothing changes "calories in vs calories out". Saying it is "glandular" and such is a way of defending your drug of choice, food. If you keep a food diary you quickly realize how many more calories you are eating than you admit. Now changing that is tough because every fiber in your being is fighting you and it requires a multipronged approach. I know people who have lost weight and kept it off through diet and changing their attitude towards food (i.e. not treating it like a reward).

When I returned from Asia and landed in Denver I was shocked by how fat everyone is now. I swear I could've counted the number of obese people in East Asia on one hand but in the Denver airport I think it would be safe to say about 80% of the people there were noticeably obese. It certainly isn't due to a lack of food in Asia, they practically force feed you in China.

Do what the Germans did in ww1 when they knew their diplomatic code was broken but couldn't change it. They put the important stuff in plain sight and treated it like junk mail and encoded the boring stuff.

I use a one time pad with all of my contacts. I ask them to eat or burn each page when they are used up.

People will help those they know personally (e.g. family units) and even then only to a point. Harboring resources for yourself is innate. Most organisms exhibit a form of territoriality to protect their resources. Communism breeds apathy, a struggle for resources and hopelessness, just ask anyone who has actually lived through a communist government.

Hope it passes so everyone flying a jet plane over Florida that leaves a contrail or agricultural spraying has to go to court to get the fine dismissed.

The same people who think humans can't alter the climate also claim that the government is controlling the weather.

Imagine every commercial jet that leaves a contrail now having to go to court.
