I’ve seen commercials like this before and this is always the thought in my head to the writers.

Not sure why you got downvoted because I had the same reaction when I read it. This is your spouse and treating her request for divorce and obvious associated emotional distress as something related to her gender rather than the specifics of your relationship seems incredibly dismissive and misogynistic.

It’s always worth the budget for this shot.

Whatever you do, don’t look up silicosis. Not a problem at all. Not relevant.

This is just so blatantly wrong.

I’m in my mid forties.

Two-thirds of survey respondents agree that ending contact with a family member because of political beliefs is not justified and that most family fights over politics could be easily resolved.

Ah yes those pesky, abstract “political” beliefs shouldn’t get in the way of family. Such esoteric ideals like

  • I believe in human rights.
  • Rapists should not be in power.
  • Nazis are evil.

Who could ever let a silly disagreement over politics spoil a relationship? /s

Came here to say this about Die Hard. I thought 3 was waaay better than 2.

Ok fine. We give Russia part of Poland in exchange for peace.

What a great breakdown on your thoughts, thank you for sharing. I’ll admit it’s not a perfect game but I think it worked for me much better than for you. When the game switched to Abby I had this sense that the writers were going to try and make me feel something besides hate/contempt for her and my immediate reaction was “Good fucking luck.”

But it really worked and as the narrative unfolded with Abby I found her to be a very sympathetic character and by the ending I was more worried about her than Ellie.

When I realized this I felt super conflicted because - who didn’t care about Ellie going into Part 2? And I think that message about having empathy for people you hate was such a powerful theme to make a whole game about that I was willing to let a lot of the smaller narrative mistakes go.

Have a good day.

As the title says, bought some nicer furniture which is being delivered and curious if I should tip the delivery driver.

Edit: I’m in the USA.

I have a 3 player vanilla survival realm and everything has been working fine for 100-200 hours of gameplay until this past weekend. We noticed that monsters suddenly weren’t spawning when all three players are in the game. If one player leaves, monsters immediately begin spawning. It doesn’t matter which player leaves the game.

Things I’ve tried:

  • Set game to peaceful for some time (force all hostile mobs to despawn) then back to normal difficulty.
  • Player 1 was playing on PC and tried switching to Xbox X.
  • Player 3 has a child account: age was set to 21+.
  • Tried eliminating many non-hostile mobs in case we were near the limit.
  • Tried downloading the game to my Xbox and hosting locally. Still no mobs even though Realms wasn’t involved.

We are playing Bedrock edition 1.20.51. This is my son’s first time playing survival and he is super invested in our world. We are all frustrated that one person has to log out for the others to fight monsters. Please help!
