Looks good, what's your go-to seasoning for fried rice?

Completely agree. On a tangential note, I've noticed that the same crypto influencer hucksters from the last couple years on LinkedIn are now shilling AI miracle solutions for everything. The grift never sleeps!

Edit: missing words

I'm not familiar with the exact tone OP wants but a compressor is a safe place to start if they want sustain without additional coloring.

What DAW are you using OP? The stock comp plugin should be totally serviceable.

If you like platformers and haven't done it already you should play both Super Mario 3 on NES and Super Mario World on SNES. Still really great to play but also a good history lesson - a lot of staple design concepts were pioneered in those games!

Staying in the platformer genre, the original Rayman on PSX wil always be one of my favorites. Wonderful, unique art and sound design. Starts off very slow but becomes fiendishly difficult as you keep going. Be advised that it was designed with limited lives and some brutal gauntlets between save points. Save scumming with your emulator is probably going to be good for your sanity here.

I've never seen those mini buckers before, thought they were p90s at first glance. How do they compare to the full size ones?

Also RIP your back, I love my LP but it's so damn heavy I stopped gigging with it years ago

They did SUCH a good job with it. It's a love letter to the original game but done in a very modern and approachable way.

Just happened to walk by a Lamy display in a store while I was killing time before a lunch, tried the tester and loved how smooth it was to write with one. I have a safari and an al-star now and they're basically all I write with at this point.

+1 for the bread maker. We scored one for 10 bucks off the local craigslist equivalent and probably use it 3 or 4 times a week now. It took a couple weeks of fine tuning the proofing and baking time, but now we're churning out loaves for about 60 cents a pop that would cost 3 or 4 dollars at the local bakery.

Learning to parry. Baaaaaad reaction time here.

I picked up one of the full hollowbody jazz boxes from Ibanez a couple months ago and love it. Really great value for the money!

The production value is fantastic but itemization seems a bit dull to me. I was hoping for something to split the difference between D2 and POE in terms of no-lifing required, but it feels a bit closer to a very casual experience like D3. Also not a fan of the dynamic scaling, it's awul to feel stronger in the same zone at level 10 than level 30.

But I'm optimistic, they're going to be building on a solid platform. There's tons of potential here.

Transcribing was so frustrating when I started, but oh man is it good for your ears!
