Blight Town before the Remaster was a boss all on its own!
Darksouls world
Anything related to darksouls. It was my favorite place on reddit so im trying to recreate it. Just dont be a dick
Yeah, my first trip through there was a nightmare. I came in from the sewer side, and went in completely unprepared. HUGE mistake.
Completely agree! It was the first place that game really humbled me. Just when I was thinking I had a grip on the difficulty of my first play through; wow! It still stands out as one of my favorite Souls' memories but at the time I hated that place with a passion.
Fuck Blight Town and all its fuckery. I'd rather go through Demon's Souls' poison area (just all of world 5 lol) than Blight Town. I might be biased because I haven't finished Blight Town yet because it's a huge source of frustration for me, but that's how I feel about the area.
Attempting to get past the two Anor Londo archers was rage inducing!
I ended up just running past the right one shield up and he knocked himself off
I'll have to try that during my next play through.
Parry the arrow then kick him right off. Works every time. :D
Who ever thought giving the capra demon two dogs was a good idea is an enemy for life.
This! My first rage quit in the game. Took me an age to get to this point because of sneaky buggers jumping out from buildings then get 1 step through the fog and bam! Two dogs! It was like some sort of sick joke.
Orphan of Kos.
I just hate the fight. The constant screeching, the absolutely over the top aggression, and damage he does, especially for how stupid he looks.
Dude, Orphan was the bane of my existence. But once you get his moves down, he becomes a bit of a pushover, imo. Ludwig, though... that fucker gets me at least a couple dozen times each time I attempt the DLC.
On my BL4 run, I was actually so fed up with bashing my head against the wall trying to beat Ludwig that I used a glitch to skip the entire first phase. Not because the first phase was super difficult but purely out of frustration of constantly having to go through an entire phase just to get obliterated in a few hits in the second phase. Man, just thinking about it makes me angry.
Learning to parry. Baaaaaad reaction time here.
I have played every souls games many times, elden ring for hundreds and hundreds of hours, and I still cant parry to save my life lmao
The Duke's Archives without a doubt. I would get so caught, get lost, die a lot, and not understand what I was looking for. It's the only part where I had to follow a walkthrough in detail.
That place can be pretty confusing. I only use a walkthrough to get what i need then stop reading. So when seath kills you and you go to snake jail i was pissed and confused
Currently its nito for me. I tried four kings, felt underleveled so I went the nito route. The gankfest has been destroying me. I got nito down to one hit and got greedy and died. Looking forward to finishing my first playthrough XD
Yeah he gave me some shit too. I just stayed at the front unlocked so i could watch for his aoe ground attack.
Thx for the non spoilery tip!
Realizing that the Blue Sentinels covenant in DS3 doesn't work at all so you gotta spend an insane amount of time grinding knights in Anor Londo in order to get platinum trophy
Plat for fromsoft games just seems like waaaay to much work for me
Failing Seigmeyer's quest during the Izalith portion. I was feeling so confident until that point, but I choked hard and he died. Felt like the entire run was ruined...
At the moment I have been stuck fighting Dancer currently doing my second run. Her movements during second phase feels so random, there is also the fact I get greedy. I had multiple times now were she is pretty much 1 more hit but I got killed instead.
