EA BFII released before TLJ (Nov 17, 2017 vs Dec 15, 2017). And the controversy for BFII happened before it's release, more than a month before anybody had the chance to see TLJ. On top of that, because of the extreme amounts of negative press, all paid loot boxes were removed from BFII within like a week of its release, and all future content would be entirely free. So while sometimes review bombing may be people clamoring about 'wokeness' or just ineffective, BFII is not the example to use as it's probably the singular hardest pivot in game direction in modern AAA due to player outcry.

I think I did it at 4? Wasn't too difficult, until the last round where 3/4 of my party were Hold Person'd lol

It means they're a nationalist twat. Simple question, not worth this much thought.

Fwiw the term is 'runs the gamut'

Gamut - the complete range or scope of something. "the whole gamut of human emotion"

Not sure why the author makes a big deal about the game being single player.

Because the majority of capital in the games industry is currently being thrown behind MP-primary/only Games As A Service experiences, and aside from a select few Sony studios, most AAA development is moving away from Single-player

I mean the only real contender I could imagine would be TOTK which is so much less accessible, and I can't see how it'd get any leg up on BG3. It's only on one console, and there's zero consideration for other experiences (there's not even separate sfx/music volume sliders, it's all the same channel)

I get Nintendo has everybody's nostalgia in a vise and TOTK is certainly a great game, but imo BG3 is all that with the addition of being able to play it where and how you want it with actual modern disability and experience considerations. Not to mention the performance difference (which isn't everything, but for people who get motion sick from choppy framerates it's not nothing either)

If starfield experiences a wholly different launch to every other bethesda game ever, then it's maybe in a similar playing field but I'd wager it's nowhere near as polished as BG3 is.

Staring at the clock waiting for Baldur's Gate to release lol

For a real answer, some Arma III with the boys, some Sea of Thieves with the boys, some Across the Obelisk with the boys...

I only really play co-op anymore it would seem lol.

Gotcha. I'm new to printing in general but the use-case here is a wearable helmet for a costume so seems like PETG is worth the hassle. Definitely getting a lot of stringyness at my current settings though so maybe some extra finegaling is in order.

I kinda live in a swamp tho so it's pretty humid at all times here, though the printer is in the same room as a dehumidifier lol.
