Yes, of course. I have two daggers and a crossbow equipped. And if it would buff the lute used to cast, that's shown on my back so it should still work.
To be fair tho, Fallout's isn't exactly hidden. It does tell you how many days you have. But even then, you didn't expect it to actually mean something. Not in an RPG like that, anyway. Usually was reserved for action games purposed for the arcade.
Having not played 5e in PnP yet (my group is kinda scattered 😮💨) I have to wonder if Performance is not tied to bardic inspiration or other bardic abilities that used to require performing a song to keep up, much like how casters use Concentration, or if it's simply BG3.
As is tradition, my first run is as a Bard. What better class to handle conversations and record the lore? Mechanically speaking, I also play Bards because they are the "jack of all trades" class, and while it may not be true here, it was the class to solo party most D&D CRPGs I grew up with since they are decent at everything from fighting and casting, to picking locks and persuasion.
He's also a Gold Dragon born, but I made his scale colors look like he's from a Cyberpunk music video (magenta and cyan with a metallic sheen).
I have to say, though, it's a much punchier start than a majority of the original Bioware and Black Isle infinity engine games where you're essentially "angsty teen from.a backwater who hates his town, also happens to be some kind of chosen one who has assassins after him for unknown reasons."
Plus the whole tadpole in the brain thing actually feels closer to how a huge portion of Shadowrun campaigns begin. Brain bomb, brain slug; same thing basically.
There's a launcher?
I have a shortcut directly to the executable on my desktop and it just launches right into the game.
I don't know what to make of him either.
First he tries to kill me, now he's constantly hitting on me. Although, because I built my dude specifically for dialogue, I have had insight checks that tell me he's faking his flattery. So I don't trust him at all. But I am not sure if that is something everyone will encounter or just if you have the right stats to succeed the passive checks.
Edit: Ok well I now know why he was creepy. But he also said he wanted to fuck, just not me and now I'm mad.
The only problem with controller I've had is the input box doesn't open for text boxes where applicable. Though that could just be Steam and there isn't too many input boxes like that.
I just got the game today and I'm already glad to hear the Vector is being nerfed. I see a dude halfway across the map and blat I'm dead, and it turns out he had a friggin smg.
Being told the game was so obtuse, many things are not able to be figured out simply playing normally, so don't be afraid to use guides or look things up; half the time, that was intended by the developer in the first place as a way of promoting discussion and having that old school sense of wonder. Other times, it was just to be "not like the other games."
This was back when DS1 first came out, though. Elden Ring isn't as bad as some of the older Fromsoft games in this regard. A couple quests, but not a huge bulk of the game.
shows picture of me and an albinauric
"They're the same picture 🤷🏻♂️"
Having been save scumming quite hard, the Critical Failure and Critical Success means fuck all. It changes nothing so I'm not sure why they included them outside of combat. Unless it changes in the harder difficulty. I'm on the medium, default one.
