There is!

I purchased my wife a brand new expensive oled monitor for Christmas.

She opened it and set it up, but the stand hung over the edge a little bit.

Unfortunately, I have a sit/stand desk which is back to back with her desk.

I raised my desk the next day and my desk caught her monitor stand and flipped the monitor.

The only reason it didn’t crash into the floor is the DP cable teeth held onto the monitor.

The cable was ruined, but I’ll always defend those teeth!

Salary is one part of the cost for an employee.

Benefits and perks cost money, plus you have the additional overhead of legal, HR, accounting which can scale based on headcount.

Most of my employers used a 2.5x multiplier to account for this.

Another place I worked every employee cost 250k regardless of salary.

If you hold you breathe would you stay conscious longer?

This is due to the scanners.

Newer scanners don’t need electronics out, older ones do.

Unfortunately, they don’t replace them ALL at an airport at the same time, leading to inconsistency…

My current major airport I fly through doesn’t open pre check until 9am, which is a pain, cause I have to print a paper ticket to get my precheck privileges in the normal lines

Which causes chaos cause I don’t have to do things others do

NCUA insures credit unions. The FDIC does banks and is much more well known.

The idea is that they might not get rid of NCUA.

We had a massive lecture hall (500-1000 student capacity) at my uni, inside of the lecture hall, there were men’s and women’s bathrooms without doors, but with like the hidden S curve

Someone took an explosive shit all over the sink.

And we had a midterm exam with the worst smelling shit I’ve ever smelled.

Weather related or due to lack of investment?

I used to live off of 3 miles of dirt road that was not maintained by anyone. After hurricanes sinkholes would open or the road would flood with 1-5 feet of water.

During this time, paramedics or fire department would use boats, helicopters, or swim if neither was available…

GDP is not taxed revenue or availability of funds.

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is the monetary value of all finished goods and services produced within a country during a specific period. (I used gen AI for this paragraph).

According to the CBO, they expect to collect $4.864 trillion in taxes in 2025 (source: https://www.cbo.gov/topics/taxes ).

Unless you are going to forcibly steal assets from companies (which would lead to amass exodus from the US economy and cause a massive depression) you’d never get 20 trillion.

This idea is a nice thought, but impossible and not how the economy works.

So 60 hertz didn’t cause headaches, but 59.96hz did?

That doesn’t seem true
