Great response, thanks

My prescription changes all the time. There's NO WAY I want to get lasik and end up wearing glasses in a year.

Fuck that.

I don't think the mom's laughing if she's blind. Yes, it's a pain in the ass, sometimes, to have glasses. But no, I'm not paying for lasik for my kid who needs glasses/contacts.

Downvotin' @[email protected] doesn't make them wrong.

Do you like Gladiator movies?

I feel sorry for who I was.

But I escaped all that, and I have a lot of family and love and caring all around me now. Drug free for decades.

Never been so blasé about your life that you opened your friend's parent's medicine cabinet and recklessly took whatever prescriptions you found in there in a desperate attempt to get high and escape reality?

Good for you!

The jelly isn't gelatin. It's like jam I guess, I don't know what they call it in other countries. I feel like some folks think we eat peanut butter and gelatin, which is wrong.

I'm throwing the bullshit flag on this one. Never curious? Never saw a frappuccino and tried it? Never just experimentally had a sip out of curiosity? I'm not buying that.

Thanks Mango. I too, have the autism. So perhaps we are just communicating on a different wavelength than the allistics.

"Only in America" was indeed the zinger.

@[email protected] seems like a person who washes their car in the driveway every weekend.

"Victim card" lol 😂

However I find myself being disagreed with quite often, mostly for not advocating or cheering violence, "by any means possible" change, or revolutionary tactics. It would seem that I'm not viewed as authentically holding my view unless I advocate extreme, violent, or radical action to accomplish it.

Those seem like two different things to me.

Edit: TO COMMUNISTS, ANARCHISTS, OR ANYONE ELSE CALLING FOR THE OVERTHROW OF SOCIETY

THIS OBVIOUSLY ISN'T MEANT FOR YOU.

I didn't realize this was a Tiktok song 😂

Oh, and it's LARGE. That's my range it's sitting on, and it covers about 2/3 of it.

Not just a song that can be found in the archives, but one that almost everyone can hum, even today.

(Somebody asked what was meant by "today's...." Throw whatever you want out, somebody tossed out "Love me tender" as being a tune from in the 1860s.)

These are my grandcats, my son and his wife's cats.

...and they COULD NOT think of a natural process that could produce plastics in the environment in the amounts required to produce life?

Their science would never dream of how it happened.

What about another liquid? Is there a "perfect" cleaner, something that spreads and penetrates like nothing else?

Very interested in the answer.

Sure, "nice" needs some definition.

But that's your call. I'm asking you if you are a nice person.

I understand that the newer version has a different ending and some new characters and scenes that weren't in the original. But the original is what got all the accolades and was considered his best book.

Which way should I go?
