Read the article again, if you didn't understand read it again, if you still couldn't manage to read to whole article, look for help. Because the Article answers exactly your question and it states: they are not against targeted ads, meta can still use information that the user gives meta - their bio, their interests and other shit. What they are against is meta spying on it's users and collecting information about the user, that the user hasn't given meta permission to use, like location data, behaviour patterns.

I remember when YouTube was relatively new, there were a lot of fox news videos. But all the videos of fox news or rush Limbaugh was, compilations of how retatded they were. Now some how, they are seen as a real news media. 🤮

The people who liked fox/Limbaugh type of media were rideculed, so they wouldn't come out of the woodwork. Now they're everywhere, they have managed to radicalize the whole world.

Yeah sure, I also don't like the guy, but you can't say it like that. Everyone deserves legal representation, even if they are guilty. Otherwise a lot of innocent people are going to prison.

Yawn.... even if it's true, who give a shit. Even before the pandemic, when people had a lot to do, they stayed at home so they could focus undisturbed to meet deadlines.
