With the api changes it has exploded with posts misleading everyone with gifs that happened years ago with inflammatory titles, the racism and hate is just left to fester within comment sections etc... It's really sad to see how much the platform can be damaging to everyone visiting it without moderation. It feels like the funnyjunk website now, but somehow is getting worst. Seeing an entire feed only filled with hate, misinformation, and full of bots.

He just wants a private club with a familiar venue. He knows people like twitter, so he buys it for himself to play king among the plebs and rubbing it into the faces of his "critics" who truly know who he is. Sometimes I wonder if he actually acknowledges the outside world at all since his 5 minutes of fame. Anyways, the emperor has no clothes, and his self destruction is highly entertaining.
I think he just wants a private club with all the people already inside on a familiar and well respected platform imo, he just doesn't realize that his 5 minutes of fame are over, people see for who he really is.
Ok so first of all thanks alot for the answer, I was looking for the appropriate term for ages! Unfortunately the TV has no option to fix this, so I am looking for a software solution, I am tempted to use xrandr but don't know if there is a better or other way. Being new to this operating system sure is exciting!!!

I am so excited about what's going to happen for Lemmy, I was looking for a replacement for Reddit, and this fedverse seems to have so much potential!
Honestly moderated self hosted servers always seemed like an obvious solution, but no game company would do this since they can't monetize their products to the degree that a live service can.
