I took a WaveShare RP2040-Touch-LCD-1.28and made a program to use it as a touchscreen. This is still very much in the beta phase but the proof of concept works. Here’s my GitHub repo for it.

I’m planning on integrating it into my next split near the thumb cluster.

If you turn off notifications while you have an unread message, the red 1 never goes away on the app icon.

I love all the apps that are being made, each one has something new to bring, but I have yet to see one implement a community grouping option. Something to view all your communities that revolve around the same theme in one wall. Kind of like mini homes. So far the only alternative I found is making separate accounts, follow only one theme and change between them but it’s definitely not ideal.

Apollo was updated on the AppStore today.

I know this is MicroPython, but I was having the same issue through Arduino. The IMU on the WaveShare 1.28 module has a fusion engine but I can’t seem to access it via I2C. More detail in the SO post linked.

I’m an adult (at least that’s what I’m told) who was recently diagnosed. Until then we just called it dyslexia…

I’m using Dracula purple theme and the top buttons colors are inconsistent throughout the app. Found issues in the Accounts settings, also new post top buttons are the wrong color.

I’ve seen only few GIFs on Lemmy. Most of them are just links but I’ve see a handful that were actually animated within the apps (I forget which app it was maybe Memmy). Is there a reason for the lack of GiFs?

I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD, and I’ve noticed that I sometimes get sensory overload, when my kid (5, also neurodivergent) starts humming, or other loud conversations etc, I get physical pain from the sustain loud (or just high level) noise. I’ve been using my AirPod Pro with no music with just noise cancelling to help. Anyone else in a similar situation? What do you do to help?
