I booked a train to Germany. 2 hours before my train even started at it’s origin station, it was already announced that it will be delayed in the station where I need to change (6 hours from now).
I have no way to get the money for my seat reservation back, despite that the journey has not even started yet and despite me and the train company assuming right now, that I’ll miss the train.
It’s an infuriating system and I hate the German train company.
I probably wouldn’t be able to wait and reserve a seat for the train that I can actually catch, because the trains are hopelessly overbooked. I can only hope, that someone misses the next train, that I have to take instead, just like I missed mine and find a free reserved seat there.
It looks like the price is off and the mediocre amount of new units and innovative faction mechanics can’t change that, but I see where the money for development went.
CA said multiple times in the past, that the quest battles take a lot of development time. That’s why they started recycling most of them for multiple factions in former DLC or have as few as possible. Imrik was a surprise back then with his dragon battles for free.
For this DLC they brought up 6 battles for Kislev, 4 for Cathay (haven’t played, no idea if is correct) and I don’t know how many for the changeling all over IE. That had to be a ton of work, but CA fails to understand, that most fans don’t give a duck about these battles. Instead, they should have created more units (lords/heroes) and better implement the factions into their race. I want to say though, that I enjoy the cinematics and change of objectives in contrast to the usual battles. Ostyanka and the changeling battles were fun until now. Looking forward to do the rest of the changeling and Yuan Bo battles at some point.
