But I feel like that will just lead to more training with the same (or more) hardware with a more efficient model. Bitcoin mining didn't slow down only because it got harder. However I don't know enough about the training process. I assume more efficient use of the hardware would allow for larger models to be trained on the same hardware and training data?

The lamp is rendered by small electric lights, be it LEDs or LCD. CRTs are in a bit of an grey area. But you can absolutely use a monitor as a light source by itself .

For what reasons other than political would blizzard want to stay on his good side? Or do you think Elon's money in the cosmetic store would just be that valuable to them?

It's an all or nothing unless you want to be the ruler who decides whose phobia is common or sever enough to justify a content warning.

Sorry, Jane Doe, but your xanthophobia just isn't common enough to warrant a content warning.

I don't mean to demean you, but saying that your particular phobia is bad enough to warrant a cw, but then saying that someone else's isn't, comes off as quite a poor take.

I would just like to clarify I'm not a fan of the NSA. Just it's not unusual for them also support security. I believe SELinux even stems from them.

Have fun not using AES then.

Yeah it took me a good 3-4 read throughs to establish it was the same bear and not 2-3 different ones competing for the same promotion. Though I might just be exceedingly slow today.

I heard something for a lighter sent to spray the air in front of you and walk in to the mist. I don't like overwhelming smell of concentrated perfume, so it's a nice in between

Ah yes, the feudal system was ideal for fair treatment and everyone had a roof over their head and a full belly.

They're saying poverty is the source of these desperate crime. Doesn't matter what economic or governmental rule you live under.

Sweden does. As we use a comma (,) to separate units from decimals instead of a dot. It's annoying. Some programs like Excel freaks, and wolfram alpha thinks you're using coordinates.

But it's fine if a hero do all those things?

In a recent update to the HSBC app they've added a screen to prevent you from using the app unless you use the default (google) keyboard.

They do a similar thing if you have an accessibility service running that can access the screens content. A fair enough security warning if you've happened to install a dodgy keyboard app, but highly frustrating when using an open source alternative that enhances the security and privacy over the default option (HeliBoard in my case).

I haven't found a way to circumvent the page yet. It would be useful if Android allowed you to block the permission to query all packages, but alas.

But it seems to only do this in the home tab. Search and subscription tabs still show the view count.

Now I don't think view count is much of an indication of quality for a video, but the number of likes even less so. It varies quite a bit even on video to video from the same creator depending on if a like is called out for, or audience type.

Certainly not the most egregious change they've made, but a bit of an odd one I can't quite figure out why.
