As someone in healthcare IT, this might be the dumbest diagnosis I've ever heard in either tech or medicine.
It's not about seeing kids on the platform. It's about short form content, short attention spans, and shallow takes. I don't think the idea of maturity breeding patience and interest in deeper levels of understanding of topics is all that controversial.
Not that much, it was the 90's when I was a kid, we know a lot more now than we knew then so I can't get too hung up on that. Plus I'm pretty content with my life right now, and it's easy to say things with hindsight, but life is a house of cards. If any one thing changed I have no idea where I'd be. All I know for sure is where I am now is a happy place.
I've been burned out on the news since it went 24/7.
And they've run both franchises into the ground.
Immigration from where? You'd need to compare the metrics he's was talking about to the countries the immigrants are fleeing to really have a point there. As long as the conditions are better in the US than where the immigrants are coming from they'll do that.
Are we seeing a lot of immigration from countries with good healthcare and education?
Even by money standards he does stupid stupid things. How much money did he piss away on running Twitter into the ground and telling advertisers to go to hell. If he got the help he obviously needs he could have had it all. And his latest stupidity with the Nazi salute seems to be going down really well in Europe. Tesla sales evaporating in Europe. Just read that Cyber truck has completely flopped (shocking!)
It's amazing how many guns we have, how pro 2A we are, how much pride we carry over things like the American Revolution, and we say dumb shit like violence is never the answer.
