As a man who have been with the same woman the last 20 years I have an extremely limited experience in the field of periods to put it mildly, but what benefits does using these apps give you.

Could you get the same effect from an airgapped notebook?

He is going to get so much contracts for his other companies, not to forget in Russia since he managed to put a kompromat in the white house

I mean does anybody other than blowhards full of nothing but air use or care a out LinkedIn? The last job they tried to push on me was working in a local five and dime in the city centre mall. Not disrespectinf the fine people who work there, but how do my master in thermodynamics and 20 years of experience with explosives fit in there?

Read about this in a Bill Bryson book. Cant remember the details. But during the 50s the US "government" discovered that a Finnish born man (with legal residens and married to an American woman) had been a member of the Finnish communist party in his youth. The shipped him out on the first plane for Europe, and only told gis wife after the plane landed

I will now cut back on all social media. Lemmy included as I get a depression from what's happening in the US. What is painfully obvious is that we Europeans must stop fucking around and federate so that we have a fucking chance wedged in between despots and idiots.

Pretty much any fruit flavoured food that is not artificial will contain sugar from the fruit juice. But most companies add sugar anyway.

I am semi-literate in "computers". That means I can build my own PC, do no coding, but manage to troubleshoot most things by sheer stubborness, search and the odd question on a "forum" In other words not afraid of tech.

I can't be bothered to sift through endless overengineered BS for a PC to do the few things I need it to do these days. Web browser, Steam and streaming, while not scraping every ounce of personal data and sending it to various entities for nefarious purposes. I have Mint, it works out of the box and I don't have to tinker with it, but enough customizability if I want to.

Can't remember the details, but an art teacher discovers that a student is selling erotic art on Patreon earning more than the teacher...

I have read voraciously all my life. Audiobooks ruined it somewhat, but with a 2 year old I have been adamant that he sees dad with a book, not a phone or e-reader.

I have tried the classics numerous times, but I find them mind numbingly boring. Homer, Tolstoy, Ibsen are so dreary. Better some good fantasy by Pratchett or Gaiman. Found the Slow Horses series to be enjoyable. If you want more classic action perhaps the Musceteer-books by Duma or Sherlock Holmes by Doyle. (Personally very fond of the closed room mysteries by John Dickson Carr
