1.4M for new EVs seems like a good number for the US. Were used EV sales counted and included? I suspect many who want an EV and balk at the lame dealer shenanigans (from dealers who aggressively gouge or disincentivize EV sales) are finding their ride in the used market.

This is why is why it bugs me when car manufactures design EVs without a charging port on the passenger side.

There was mention in December that Collabora are working on supporting Maxwell (Geforce 700 series) based cards.

Awesome! This is next on my skills to learn list. Can you suggest some resources for starting out?

yup plain whole yogurt is so versatile! You can always add jam or honey for a sweet tooth. Plain is also great with curries. A good yogurt has no thickeners like corn starch (eew!) or added sugar.

If their last major release was in 2021, they would have been too early for basing off the 22.04 LTS release of Ubuntu. Zorin 17 now appears to be based on 22.04 according to the /dists/jammy folder on the .iso image. The next Ubuntu LTS release is just a few months away, seems like rather bad timing for users. Even though Zorin 17 based on 22.04 will have standard support for 3 more years, it will put a bit more pressure on users to upgrade quickly if Zorin follows this schedule.
Edit: link with system information https://zorin.com/os/details/

There is a fun space opera series called Black Ocean Outlaws by JS Morin where magical wizards can bring people into imaginary worlds

My RX6700 based 2022 is a beast. I think Valve did an amazing job with the AMD based Steam deck leveraging Linux as well! You can hook up the little handheld to a monitor or a TV and still have a blast with nearly all of your existing Steam library for not much money.

Sparse for the (two decade old) i915 driver is fine if you only need x86-64 support which would probably be most of us. Other architectures that could use the new Xe driver for DG2 (Alchemist) still wont have HUC ("for AVC/HEVC/VP9/AV1 low power encoding bitrate control, including CBR, VBR, etc encoding") right? https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/xe/kernel/-/issues/234

Intel kinda backed itself into a smelly corner with its consumer GPU card debut. A year in and it's still quite a mess.
