Imagine how much plastic waste could be eliminated if we just boycotted these companies.

My point being that one doesn't need a fixer, unless one does illegal things. Can we not have criminals in places of power? Soonish?

Have you ever seen wooden/ bamboo bikes? Renovo was one manufacturer. And currently, (https://www.lightwoodenbicycles.com/) TimberWolf Cycles.

There are others: https://www.treehugger.com/awesome-bikes-made-of-wood-4869156

I saw one in a museum, from the 1880s, made of hickory. It reportedly weighed 18 pounds.

Most EVs have a 10 year / 100K miles warranty, at least in the US.

I was curious about a specific term:

"In a pivotal stretch of testimony, David Pecker, the longtime publisher of The National Enquirer, described a 2015 meeting with Mr. Trump and his fixer at the time, Michael D. Cohen, at Mr. Trump’s midtown Manhattan headquarters.

Fixer
Noun
2. A person who uses influence or makes arrangements for another, especially by improper or unlawful means.

When I first started vaping I came across a company called Vriptech. They put out a whitepaper to describe their approach, called Superior Vaporization Technique from 2003. I couldn't find it online, so will link it here ( https://archive.org/details/SVTaroma )

I see that there is a messages link in the drop down menu associated with my username. But when I go there I don't see how to send a message. I'm sure this is pretty basic stuff, it's just that I'm suffering from PTSD from being a reddifugee and can't seem to figure it out on my own. TIA! Much appreciation!

Santa Fe, NM has a rich history dating back to at least 900 AD. When I lived in New England, many people believed that their relatives were pioneers of civilization in North America, with ancestors that could be traced back to the 1700s. However, even by European standards, La Villa Real de la Santa Fé de San Francisco de Asís is much older than Mayflower era settlements, having been founded in 1610.

Parishioners at Santa María de la Paz Catholic Community in south Santa Fe cried while others sat in stunned silence when Archbishop John C. Wester delivered the devastating news at the start of each Sunday Mass a year ago. > >The head of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe informed churchgoers the Rev. Daniel Balizan, a charismatic pastor and their shepherd for the past decade, had been removed from his post amid an investigation into alleged misconduct.

This is the first announcement on this topic in this locale. I inherited this ride from another superhero, who inherited it from yet another super hero, so it's entirely possible that this ride has been in existence for decades, if not centuries. Dress up in your finest superhero attire, outfit your bike with all your fancy super hero finery. We'll get together for a social paced evening ride to celebrate all the EVIL we've vanquished in the previous lunar month. This is a not drop ride. If anyone suffers a mechanical failure, we'll all stop, pump up the jams and celebrate while repairs are made. This social ride happens approximately monthly, for the obvious reasons implied by orbital mechanics.
