If it's DOMS, you're pretty much always safe to work out again. Your range of motion might be limited to start, so you absolutely must start slow, but it is good to move. DOMS gets worse immediately when you stop moving, and improves significantly once you've moved around and keep moving. Active recovery like walking, yoga, some other dynamic stretching routine, etc.

I went to a computer camp for a few years, and the brothers who ran it were in one of the high end guilds on their server. A lot of us were immediately obsessed...I remember going home after the first week and begging my parents to buy the game for me.

Got away from it in late high school and college, but I started on p99 during the pandemic.

I wasn't consistent for a long time. I recently started back, because I know that it's all down hill from here and if I want to continue my streak of never having broken a bone, I need to get lifting.

Real talk, it has less to do with gay people themselves.

But they spent decades making homosexuality the unspeakable boogieman. And now people are out there not just living their lives, but proud of who they are.

The fear from the right is, "If they can be out there living like that, why will my flock continue to believe me when I demand that wives be subservient to their husbands, sex only for procreation, etc.?"

It's about control. Quashing LGBTQ+ folks less easy now, so they're going after an even smaller group of trans people specifically, hoping that it will fragment the backlash and let them re-assert their doctrines.

I've just been blocking meme communities as I see them.

Any new service will be the same. You have to spend some energy filtering to get the content you want, because we all want to produce and consume different things. And that's good!

I'm also blocking city and regional communities that have no impact on me.

White people specifically had access to the GI bill benefits. Black vets were excluded for a long time.

They seem to be doing the most shady stuff via the shadow docket.

With apple aficionados, it would also take costing a lot of money to make them interested.

Sleep now is a lot more difficult than sleep 100 years ago.

Light matters. Blue light from computer screens has been tied to sleep issues. The theory is that it mimics certain bandwidths of sunlight that our eyes are primed to read as "daytime, get up and start moving."

Hydration and food matters. You need to be in a good state but shouldn't consume much right before bed.

Exercise matters. A lot of people have trouble sleeping if they move around a lot before bed. Since we have electric lights and can stay up very late doing stuff, it's hard for your body to know it's time to start winding down.

Best solution I've found: no caffeine after noon, consistent bed schedule (both going to sleep and waking up), black out curtains and/or sleep mask, earplugs/earbuds/brown noise track, and stop using screens an hour or two before bedtime.

Because rural voters have spent decades dialed in to talk radio, their pastor, and more recently cable news. They talk each other around in circles, obfuscating the actual issues, and any time a real issue does creep into the discussion, they lay blame at the out group who has historically had no power in their communities.

You can't appeal to the best interests of rural voters because rural voters themselves have no idea what to care about until the man on TV tells them how to say it to piss off "liberals."

The change was LastPass messing around with their membership options.

I had LastPass for years. I eventually decided to pay for it. Then they decided to remove premium all together...only to add it back by taking away features. One of those features was being able to use both mobile and web.

I opted for mobile, because I always have my phone with me, and the app has biometric unlock, whereas web does not.

But you can't save and export your LastPass via mobile. Has to be web. So I had to switch that. And I'm just now getting to a point where I can transfer.

You can't. System admin needs to, and they posted that they can't yet because the new version doesn't support captcha yet. They're expecting a fix but have to wait.
