Aye, fuck spez
I legit haven't heard anything (haven't asked the right audience most likely) that makes Rivals a Standout in the field of Hero Shooters other than being both "new" and "not overwatch". I understand people are probably tired of it but Overwatch is the dominant force in its field for a reason. It's the most polished, technical, consistent, balanced (neither atk nor def overwhelmingly wins afaik), shooter in its genre. I don't play it so I could be wrong and know its had a lot of missteps. But in this case Rivals is swinging for the king, and even though this king is long in the tooth, it better not miss.
Just like when comparing Palworld to pokemon, Rivals needs gameplay that is better not just different than OW to keep its players - or when the New Game Smell wears off people will go back to Ol' Reliable where they have 90/100 unlocks and an established ELO for a stable MM and that will be the end of it.
To that end, can anyone tell me what makes Rivals better? What do you see it having in place that will hold you to it rather than returning to an established ecosystem of ow? I'd like to legitimately hear it out even if I don't intend to pick it up.
Does something that scale even recognize or care for an individual ant as it crosses or destroys a city?

A what
Can I get this kind of book but for Mint?
Not religious but the stone looks fantastic. The blue on the ceilings. The sharpend look of the checkerboard floors. The work that went into the arches. Having visited it almost 25 years ago, the seeing it had burned was sad. For the sheer work it takes to put a gothic structure back together - it's beautiful.
Something something bootstraps and avocado toast?
