Yes, constantly. But it happened with my iPhone 13 Pro as well.

Being a Tesla owner is brutal because neither the left nor the right respect you.

Termius is phenomenal if remote SSH is your goal. The portability between desktop and phones is flawless, and it’s truly one of the only subscription services I gladly pay for. They come out with nice regular updates too.

If all you need is a slick terminal to use locally though, kitty is great.

Derail Valley is the best non-branded train simulator out there, and the early access updates have all been significant. Phenomenal product.

It is easy to maintain freedom of speech on Lemmy. The idea that your instance can defederate from instances like Lemmy.ml, but everyone on Lemmy.ml can continue to post on their own server, and federate with any other given server by default is the entire point of federation and proof of concept that the fediverse is great for free speech. You’re under the impression that all Lemmy servers are supposed to be part of one big whole, but that’s not what the fediverse is for.

You have to understand that “free speech” is a negative freedom and it doesn’t mean everyone has to listen to you. It just means nobody can force you not to speak.

I’m not sure I’d trust the Steam statistics here given this game is free on gamepass. I’d reckon a LARGE majority are playing on that, not to mention console players.

Not sure, I don’t use Jellyfin myself. I use Emby. It’s the more feature rich and polished older brother of Jellyfin.

I’ve been following Jellyfin’s progress because I’d like to go full FOSS but it’s still just not there yet. UI, clients, performance, all too big a downgrade from Plex still.

I can definitely recommend you look into Emby. It’s still the best alternative to Plex’s enshittification.

They finally added intro skipping within the last month that works with the web client. Now we just have to wait for clients to update.

It’s a corporate store with a unified return policy, which unfortunately lists acceptable reasons for return and a TV that works but has bad backlight bleed is not one of them. The lesson learned here is pay closer attention to the warranties and return policies when you buy things. Unfortunately I didn’t anticipate backlight bleed that bad even being a thing that could happen. There is often a small amount when buying LED TVs so I expected there to be some.

Unfortunately this strategy depends on you having access to a retailer with a better policy, many may not.

Oh no I live in the U.S. we don’t really do consumer protections.
