Fortunately, I am a fucking mechanic, so while it's obnoxious and expensive, I can just deal with 98% of the problems that arise my goddamn self, and don't have to second-guess if the shop is fucking me over

No reason it wouldn't work, look at kitchenaid mixers. It's a motor. With all the attachments to do any and every job in a kitchen except washing the dishes
