Vast repository pf knowledge, kinda hokey to search through, but very much worth it.
The skoolie subreddit is also good, but a lot more show-off and less helpful.
My direct answer to your question: Be a good mechanic, or have one on your crew. I bought my current at auction, for a good price, but gotdamn did the shop in charge of it cock some shit right up.
Fortunately, I am a fucking mechanic, so while it's obnoxious and expensive, I can just deal with 98% of the problems that arise my goddamn self, and don't have to second-guess if the shop is fucking me over
