No excuse for the DNC, but I think seeking the "moderate Republicans" is a condition of their big donors. Every time the Democrats lose, since Reagan won, they move right because they think they lost because they weren't conservative enough. And despite all polling that suggests otherwise, they keep doing it.

In general, they would get more money and power if they won, so why do they keep shooting themselves in the foot every fucking time? In my mind, even if you factor in that they don't give a shit about the common people and are motivated by money, it only makes sense if they are being manipulated by their big donors to do this stupid shit.

It's like these billionaire CEOs' salaries aren't merit based.

Everything that has been privatized, has ended up costing us more for shittier service. This will not be different.

Right. They design the whole rocket, spend years to build the rocket exactly according to the design doc, then the rocket explodes on the launchpad and they have to start all over.

The guard rails held last time. Barely. But the thing with guard rails, is that when someone smashes into them, you have to fix them or else they won't hold the next time they get smashed into. And we did fuck all to fix the government after the last trainwreck so there's no guard rails this time. There might not even be a chance to vote in a fix in a year and a half, things may be too fucked by then.

All the businesses closing up around you? Don't worry, the stock market is doing fine.

People need to get two jobs just to afford rent and food? Don't worry, the stock market is doing fine.

More and more people working later and later in life? Don't worry, the stock market is doing fine.

Inflation is outpacing food, rent, education, medicine, and nearly every else? Don't worry, the stock market is doing fine.

It's become the only metric for how well the economy is doing. While the country crumbles, the stock market soars so all must be fine.

How many transgender athletes are there? Of the very few there are, how many dominate?

You likely don't know, otherwise you'd have no issues at all with them. And if you do know, and you still have a problem, then your issue is one of bigotry and not protection.

For reference, there have been more female athletes sexually assaulted by coaches and other male identifying staff by a large margin than there have been medal placing transgender athletes. I'm sure you can find a few examples of transgender athletes placing in the top three, but unless you're completely stupid, then you know that's fallacious thinking to ignore the whole data set by cherry picking non representative samples.

You're basically for something that's not a problem in any measurable way, but not against things that are actually harming women. And I get it, you can be against both, but that doesn't change that transgender athletes are not a problem in any rational, real way. But to enforce a non-transgender policy will necessarily require putting women through very invasive examinations and tests that open them to even more sexual assault.

Now imagine being such a piece of shit against someone you've never met, who's not hurting anyone, that you don't want them to play sports against their peers. And then being so idiotic and emotionally irrational to say that they are not the victim of your idiotic bigotry.

Turns out, he wasn't hiding behind civilians. Which is a smart move since that's all Israel is blowing up.
