They originally tried to exempt police unions but were told that would be too blatantly illegal and the whole thing would be struck down, so they did this instead.

We have to fight to minimize the damage we cause lashing out at other countries. Sure, there's only so much we can do, but giving up would be even worse.
Eh, Tulsi changed a lot since 2016. She no longer stands for pretty much any of the principles she did then.
I would highly reccomend talking to a therapist. It can be hard to find one that works for you, but give it a shot and try a few if one doesn't work. Therapy can be incredibly helpful and this is something that sounds like it's having a negative impact on your life.
I've looked for something like this and haven't been able to find one.
I've started developing one for my local mutual aid group, but that's still months away from an initial release at the rate I've been able to put time into it.
(Side note if anyone does know of one, I'd love to hear about it)
Meanwhile my experience with automounting network drives with dolphin is
Open Dolphin > Add Network Folder > Enter creds > Check automount box > done
I haven't had to use the terminal for anything in years. There's some things I do in the terminal, but that's because I like it better, not because there isn't an intuitive way to do it.
The reason guides tell people to use the terminal is because it's the same across DEs, not because there aren't DEs that make it more intuitive.
Would I throw a random non techy friend on Linux? No, because it's not what they're used to. If they had no computer experience at all though I absolutely would.
Yeah, ironic they chose dolphin to make that point since I literally just did it in dolphin ~a month ago and it has a checkbox to set up automount for you.
If you already have one, just try that, see if it works.
You'll probably be fine with anything, NVidia's gotten to work well over the last year or two. If you want to be safe any AMD card should work well.
I'd just buy the best used AMD card in your budget.

I really wish this was how the thermometer on the pixel phones worked, I'd actually use it then.
I mean it's nice not having to keep track of a dedicated thermometer, but it's such a hastle to use.
Huh, I wasnt originally planning on activitypub in what I'm building cause I see little reason for my group's needs, currently just thinking a basic api so you could hook several instances together. @[email protected] would that cover your use case or would a broader activity pub implementation be better?
(Also absolutely no promises this turns into something beyond just being useful to the group I'm involved in, but I would like to make it something broadly useful if I can with the time I'm able to put into it.)
