I am logged automatically on Firefox so no issues there but when on the start page with all the feeds my ram is constantly rising until there's nothing left (and the page is noticeably unresponsive). Someone have the same issue maybe?

If You do not feel comfortable to leave Windows for gaming then of course keep it and dual boot PC with Your distro. Also, You can go to protondb to check how Your games run on linux
Could You try Proton-GE-Proton(or latest)? You can find it in the Wine Manager tab in Heroic (You have to switch option from WINE-GE to PROTON-GE at the top, and refresh list)
