Yeah you've got a point there, I know its not sci-fi but I really liked the show poker face, gave me some good nostalgia feels for the episodic daytime detective shows my dad used to watch. I enjoyed raised by wolves but typically it got cancelled after two seasons, season one had decent effects but the funding for the second season must have been cut because the cgi was markedly worse. Nevertheless it was some of the most inventive sci-fi I've seen on tv for a long time.

It's a shame we can't get another tng style show but it's probably not bombastic enough for modern audiences.

The quest and oculus subreddits are the ones I'll miss the most. The amount of info I gained from these subreddits was crazy.

On nightshift if its quiet I use my headset to watch movies, browse reddit and now lemmy and listen to Spotify. A halo strap is a must for wearing the headset for longer periods of time. I'm looking forward to the quest 3, hopefully it'll look even better.

Many shows are mixed for surround sound where there's a dedicated centre channel where the dialogue comes from. This is the main reason people can't hear the dialogue.

You're right the porn is the least of it, how many askreddit threads are nsfw and many many more subreddits that have nsfw language. It'll be a very hollow experience using reddit on a third party app after the 1st.

I just beat him today. I was down to my last health flask and he got me, I was thumping the sofa in frustration then I looked up and I was still barely alive, I used my flask and got in a couple more hits and he died.

I don't think there's any game I've played where I've gone from abject anger and frustration to sheer happiness in such a short pace of time.

I played one other souls game in the past but quit early as I didn't think it was my kind of game, and I didn't bother with elden ring as I read online people saying if you don't like souls games you won't like this but I'm so glad I decided to play it.
