Oh wow, that doesn’t sound like a nice experience at all. I wonder if older versions of PS work better with Wine since it could be an option if you don’t need the latest features.

Is there no way to run PS on Wine? Seems like that would be a compromise but I’ve never tried it.
Both OW2 and Apex work on Linux. I don’t play competitively but I don’t think there should be any issues. Folks on ProtonDB and Lutris can confirm comparability as well.
Try to always touch the edge of the phone with the gesture. Seems to work consistently for me.

I recently set up a Sunlight server to use with Moonlight on my Steam Deck and the quality and latency are better than Steam’s native streaming option. You might want to try that.
Regarding the lag, to fix that I had to make sure the gpu was using it’s full capacity which I managed to do by using the Corectrl app to add a SteamVR profile and setting it to max. Without it I would see the same issue where it didn’t move fast enough with my head movement.
Definitely more involved but I hope that helps.

One thing about the base stations is that you won’t be able to put them to sleep on Linux so you’ll have to disconnect them.
I think he missed the boat on this one if he had any intention of building an Apollo for Lemmy. I don’t see why anyone would choose to use a closed source app after seeing how well the open source community has handled Voyager.
