On the other hand, it's not a certainty that the Russian economy or government can survive another couple of months of more than 1500 lost personnel per day.

Ukraine has their economy pretty much in order, and inflation under control.
while Russia is already struggling freezing currency trade, estimated 15% inflation (officially 8.5 with a central bank target of 4%), Rising interest rates declining Ruble, steeply rising bankruptcies, Oil and weapons industries running at huge deficits to prop up state finances. And despite that Putin has increased budgets for the war next year by 30%.

It seems very unlikely the Russian economy will be able to take just the current burden much longer, adding to it will only make it collapse faster.

Putin is a maniac narcissist who thinks he can bend reality according to his propaganda.
Zelenskyj is a stark contrast, who deals very much with reality.

Yes absolutely, any financial gains should of course be confiscated, and the company should still be fined. But the people who ordered the criminal acts, should be punished personally too. Possibly banned from management positions the same way child abusers can't work with children.

No the criminal acts are committed by people, criminals shouldn't be able to cover their crimes behind a company, and have only the company punished.
It's way to often the case that management suffer no consequences of criminal acts, and the company is merely fined. It's disgusting IMO.

reality already got there first and it’s not a joke.

What are you talking about? @xmunk was making a joke!

cruise missiles are jet powered

I looked it up, and dammit you are right. 😋

This is not really a missile, but a missile-drone. It's kind of a new type of weapon. The stats are confidential, but allegedly it has a range of up to 700km.
The "missile-drone" is powered by a jet engine, ~~which is probably the reason it's not technically a missile.~~

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palianytsia_(missile)

The word palianytsia (a hearth-baked bread) is a shibboleth that has been used to unmask foreign agents in Ukraine's armed forces, who are usually unable to pronounce the word correctly.

lol 😋

Congratulations to Ukraine for managing to make this weapon, I hope it will be very effective.

The level of sociopathy and incompetence Putin shows, letting hundreds of thousands of his people die for nothing is staggering.
Putin will go down in history as maybe the worst and surely the most incompetent sociopath the world has ever seen.
Putin is a totally incompetent Hitler wannabe.

If it wasn't so evil and sad that Ukraine has to endure this, Putin would be the laughing stock of the entire world.

I'm sorry this isn't very constructive, I just needed to vent a little.

Slava Ukraini.

Ville det reelt have ændret situationen hvis politiet havde været bevæbnet?

[–] Buffalox 4 points 9 hours ago

Du har da vist helt glemt at politiet også udsættes for trusler med tandbørster!!
I sådan en situation er det vigtigt at kunne sætte tingene hurtigt på plads og neutralisere truslen.

Of course we can if we want to.

The glass back is NOT very resilient. it slipped from my pocket in my pants, while sitting on the terrace, a ca. 40-50cm drop, and the glass back cracked.
This is the ONLY time I dropped it, so it's not like one time too many.

I'm never buying a glass back phone ever again.
Glass is not premium, it's a design flaw.

Russia has launched an offensive into the Kharkiv region, and it has created a lot of alarmist news reports. In reality it is difficult to see what Russia's plan is, and it is not self-evident that it is a smart use of resources. In this video I discuss whether we might be seeing a return to the fragmented command structures that Russia had in the beginning of the war.
