I'm curious what is believed to be the "legal issues". From my understanding lemmy.world isn't hosting any of this content it is all on other (previously) federated sites.

Can't do this YET one method to reduce this could be to: create a response to query, then before responding to the human, check if answer is insane by querying a separate instance trained slightly differently...

You can do anything with python. Just like you can do anything with C/C++. It's a matter of time and knowledge. MATLAB + Simulink beats python hands down, that's why it's so widely used for controls. Why waste time and money to customize python to do everything.
You can walk anywhere...but I bet you don't only use that mode of transport (i.e. you bicycle, drive a car, ride the bus/subway, fly, etc.)
Hard disagree. Nothing comes close to MATLAB + Simulink. Nothing is even trying to cover the same usages.
Old Jansport was great. New Jansport is utter trash. You will get 1-2 years of light use before it breaks.

As it was before the defederation, the communities were on other instances so, per my understanding (and apparently the opposite that the admins think) the liability was on those instances hosting the communities.
