Damn, you know what? I actually sort of liked windows 11 when I had it on an empty SSD but now that I've added all my software I've noticed it's much less snappy than win10 was.
Now I'm thinking of down(upgrading) back to windows 10 but Feel like it's going to be a hassle. I'm not as tech savvy as I used to be and can't even recall how to go back to win10 without just installing it fresh
Haha, what a crazy coincidence! I had the original cyberpunk last year on windows 10. It was glitchy as hell but ran semi decent on my hardware.
Deleted it, and last night just installed phantom liberty.
Ngl, the gameplay and feel is so far 10x better than it was before the update. It's actually complete now and if you hated it before I'd honestly recommend another try as so far I'm actually sort of enjoying the gameplay whereas I hated it before and only played for the story.
Anyway, my issue is that with all of the updates it's not running anywhere near as nice as it was before. I'm having to run it on the lowest resolution with every graphic option disabled which stinks because with the gameplay being fixed somewhat I'd really like to enjoy it graphically as well.
I've installed Ubuntu dual boot on my ssd before and can do that again but any tips? I wouldn't know about where to even get phantom liberty on fedora or how to install it?
That's what I thought while reading this. After being on reddit for so long posts like these are such a breathe of fresh air. In my time on Reddit the trend was ALWAYS 1: bad changes 2: worse change 3: nothing, it just becomes the new normal then, if anything 4: even worse changes.
Blows my mind to see a site be cognizant of their users, listen to them and actually idk, work to fix things? Bravo.

I'm frugal as all get-out myself and used to be exactly like you! My ways were changed after a series of unfortunate events lol.
Had a blowout that almost cost me my life. The savings just don't feel worth it after that, haha! No shit, I was speeding on my way home from work one evening, had a blowout, lost control and finally stopped almost directly over a 5-6 story deep dropoff. My brakes were shot as well, go me! Had so much time to fix those brakes, and knew that tire was bad but just didn't think it would happen when it did. Life (maybe just mine?) Has a way of slapping me in the face sometimes lol.
You do make a great point regarding preparedness though. Even with a set of brand new tires, ALWAYS bring an adequate jack and imo whatever else you could even possibly need. Mini air compressor, one of the little dc ones or gas if possible. Bike pump in case air compressor fails, which I've had happen using those little ones. Plugs, patches, reamer set etc. Always better safe than sorry!

There's a mechanic advice community now on lemmy.world (I think?) And we're not.. idk, not bad yet I haven't seen any ugliness myself as of yet. Hopefully it will stay that way!
Fuck Reddit, but I also feel like Boost will give us a boost. It's got some features I've yet to find on other apps and hopefully will make Lemmy a little easier for people like me who made the switch

Saw the picture below, ouch! Props on the insight though! What a badass car! I had no idea Honda was so far ahead of the game in 2001, integrated motor assist? Regenerative braking? That's some advanced tech right there. You probably know this already, but learning that it retains some of the heat from braking and uses it to help run the engine? That's badass and a feature more vehicles should have. Wish I could just hook a device up to my brakes and recycle some of the power too!
Wiki also has it listed as the most fuel efficient vehicle in the U.S (without plugin capability) for the length of it's production run. Also badass!

Kudos - below picture is (supposed to be) the badass IMA installed in your engine. It's rare that I work on Hondas, especially getting this elbow deep into them so I've never seen this before! Hopefully you never have an issue that requires you to get this deep either but still, pretty rockstar!
