Last I read, Microsoft had $80 billion in cash on hand. I'm pretty sure they have the resources to run whatever the fuck they want.

At least you guys have hope. I'm a wild fan. I'll tell you where we finish next year. A playoff near miss or first round exit. The same as every year, followed by another middling pick that brings us squarely to another middling season. Repeat.

Matthews, Marner, Reilly, Nylander, that's a hell of a core. Not to mention the secondary pieces, and Knies looks like he has potential.

I would much rather have seen the Leafs move on than another Boston win. Barf.

Wow, I'm never even in the right ballpark on these. Huzzah!

"Are you don't yet? Why aren't you done yet? Help me update infinite plans that will be outdated in a week. Also, I just promised a bunch of stuff... all that stuff we already promised, I think you can do that faster."

When I was a dev, I once had a PM with no technical skills that decided he would "learn to program to help catch us up"... He did not succeed.

Surprised they didn't do it sooner. That much talent on the Leafs and they've gone nowhere during Keefe's entire tenure.

Biden has done much better than I would have guessed, especially considering how fucked everything was when he took office. He's not a star candidate and I have plenty of criticism, but Biden has done infinitely better than the last 5 Republican presidents.

That said, even if I thought Biden was amazing, he's basically a walking ghoul at this point. The president (and supreme court justices) should be sharp, at the peak of their game, not in their last dwindling years. I'll still vote Biden, because the alternative is one of the dumbest and biggest pieces of shit in American history. Maybe some day we'll have better choices.

Dude is a lying, treasonous, rapist, but per snopes he surprisingly has attended all of his children's graduation ceremonies.

I don't think I can get a twelve pack of coke for $6 these days.

"customers’ real-time location information, revealing where they go and who they are.”

All of them did it. That either means collusion or they're all evil and bold enough to do this despite the risk. Either way, this was not an accidental slip up or a hack. Jail time and a crippling fine is the solution. This is neither.

Jesus. Why can't they make whistle blowers anonymous?

You could try moving to another city in another state. The difference in pay (and support) for teachers is crazy.

As much as I don't like cops, JFC do they get nice pay and benefits in my state- like from the start. I doubt my city is very dangerous, and the prerequisites are almost nothing. Also, it would be nice to have more decent cops.

Otherwise, I work in software as a manager. Not the easiest gig, but not the hardes, and you can probably get your foot in the door at a lower level if you can work spreadsheets, have patience, and mildly thick skin. Pretty good pay.

Also, ironically school admin positions pay well.

It sounds like you have a degree, so there's lots of options. Otherwise, as mentioned, the trades are always calling if you can stomach early hours.
