hey all, I've been using the Buttkicker Gamer Plus for a few weeks, and I must say it's honestly been a great addition to my sim racing setup.

For those who may not be familiar with it, this device allows users to physically feel sensations through vibrations. The Buttkicker Haptic System can replicate sensations like engine vibrations, tire slip, the texture of the road, and gear shifts, elevating the virtual driving experience to a whole new level of realism and engagement.

A more in-depth review, with pictures, here!

TLDR!

  • Provides feedback where it is essential (tire slip, etc)
  • Performance Boost: Improves driving skills and lap times(I find myself at a negative delta when its turned off, eventually I get back to pace)
  • Considerations: It makes noise, so depending on living situations, it is something to consider. There are cheaper DIY options, but this is a complete no thinking solution.
  • Easy Setup: Quick and straightforward installation.
  • Customization: Fine-tune settings for personal preference, you can do this via iRacing directly or with buttkicker-provided software.
  • Optimal Feedback: with the controller, you can quickly turn it up and down which is nice
  • Verdict: Highly recommended for affordable immersion in sim racing.

Hey all, so I got the Buttkicker Gamer Plus over the weekend and was able to mess around with it.

What a neat experience. If you're in an environment that allows you to use something like this I would highly recommend it.

I did a quick write-up with some more details if you want to check it out.
