Just curious, how's is that any different than saying people should be punished for talking about Hunter Biden's laptop, or the lab leak theory for COVID, or any other number of things?
Do you have any examples of those things?
It's different because it actually happened, unlike your fictional examples.
Also, nobody is suggesting that anyone should be "punished" for talking about those fictional examples.
