At least some country has the balls to call Israel on their horse shit. I don't care what your opinion is on any religion. If you're for genocide on either side, you're a piece of trash unworthy of respect.

Netantahu is pro genocide. Fuck him. Full stop. Any counter opinion is purely wrong.

Netanyahu is pro Netanyahu, this is just a convenient genocide.

It makes me feel a bit better that basically everyone is calling this genocide and war crimes except US.

Outside of the fact that it basically cements that we're the bad guys of WW3, cause I'd rather we didn't.

Meh, WWIII probably won't have a good guy anyway.

"When were you radicalized?"

"When Columbia was leading the charge on human rights..."

[–] [email protected] 29 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Really though, read up on the Columbian peace process of you're genuinely interested in peace, war, and human rights.

These issues are complicated as fuck, and there are many bad things to be said about the Colombian context for sure. But their peace treaty if a marvel of modern diplomacy; it's to diplomacy what the Hoover dam was to engineering.

Yes. And yes thanks, it is Colombia without a u.

I see I use both in my comment - it's one of the embarrassing pitfalls I keep falling into in English when writing in a hurry. Oops.

No worries, understandable!

The ICC’s track record so far has been as a kangaroo court of the Global North, but I wish them the best of luck.
